ESI Receives AAU STEM Grant

The Association of American Universities (AAU) awarded a mini-grant to the Engineering for Social Innovation Center led by Dr. Joy Harris. The Engineering for Social Innovation Center will use the AAU STEM Network mini-grant to (1) establish a training program and (2) create a learning community for STEM faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech). Through the training program, we will teach active learning best practices and leadership attributes to graduate students and undergraduate peer advisors. The focus of the faculty learning community will be developing a repeatable and scalable model to replicate the training program in multiple academic units throughout the GA Tech campus.
